020906, in f minor for solo flute with piano

I can vaguely remember I was too bored to practice for my piano and flute improvisation class back in the late winter/early spring? of 2006, so I took out the manuscripts and start writing rough sketches for the flute. Then I thought, why not harmonize the tune with some chords and thus I finish the piece in those famed old “piano modules” of the university. With the new building completed toward the end of the term the whole music department was relocated, and those modules were pretty much deserted. Last time I visit the winters building the modules instead of upright pianos they are now filled with a desk and chairs for quiet study.

The archive file is dated “Thursday, February 09, 2006, 11:25:30 AM”, but I am not sure is this the actual date for completion of the work; nevertheless it would not be named “untitled”, that’s for sure.
