Year after graduating from my Bachelor studies while there are various attempts to realize my dream of not relying on my craft financially, due to different musical engagements my compositional output has stopped—so as wise as it seems I have set for myself a new year resolution (lols…) that I should keep a creative diary of sorts—that for everyday I should make something, and doesn’t have to be a completed work. This is the result.
Not sure if you can say that’s my style (or perhaps more aptly, my mental illness) but I remembered I am thoroughly fascinated with recurring themes/motifs and that’s the main point of aural interest, I suppose.
The second point is of boundaries and limitations—so let’s say you only have 30 seconds of music, while entrancing, but it’s far too short (that’s what sh…never mind) and what would you do? well, I could kept babbling on, but why not repeat for emphasis?
And so I did. And slowly. Because obviously if your audience have trouble remembering, you need to repeat yourself s l o w l y
